This position administers membership and salary eligibility for the PERA Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans. This position resolves both routine and complex situations, and provides guidance to school districts, local units of government, and other entities of actions needed to ensure compliance with program and reporting criteria. This position also collects, analyzes and organizes program activity data.

This position performs technical and analytical financial and administrative work to support PERA’s Statewide Voluntary Firefighter (SVF) Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plans. The role assists with SVF financial operations and reporting for participating fire departments, supports coordination with internal PERA staff and external partners, and helps ensure financial activity aligns with applicable laws and accounting standards.
